She has kept her life private. There are no known interviews, and her birth date, education and family background are not public. Some sites call her a news director while others say director or producer, so her exact title varies by source. Her work is mainly known through indexed credits, such as IMDb listings.

How Barbara Sherwood and Charles Latibeaudiere Are Connected
They are married, and they met through work. Charles joined Extra in 1995 and rose to supervising producer. Barbara worked on the same show from about 2002. Legit.ng reports they met in 2003 while working there.
No one has published a detailed meeting story, and neither has shared one on camera. So it is safest to say they were colleagues who became a couple. Be careful with sites that add dates, dialogue or romantic scenes.
Their 2004 Wedding
Most sources report that Barbara and Charles married on 26 June 2004. Several also name The Catalina Room in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, as the venue, and describe a private ceremony.
Here is what we can say with confidence, and what we cannot:
- Widely reported: the June 2004 date and a small, private wedding.
- Less firm: the exact venue. It repeats across sites, but no marriage certificate or announcement has been published.
- Not confirmed: guest lists, photos or details about children.
- Unverified: a 2022 separation rumour. We found no reliable documentation for it.
Counting from 2004, the couple has been married about 22 years.
Barbara Sherwood Net Worth in Table
No reliable source confirms Barbara Sherwood’s net worth. The numbers online are estimates without disclosed methods, so treat them as rough guesses.
| Person | Confirmed net worth | Online estimates (unverified) |
| Barbara Sherwood | None | Some sites suggest about $1–2 million |
| Charles Latibeaudiere | None | Ranges from about $500,000 to $15 million |
The spread for Charles shows why you should not trust any single figure. Salary guesses are equally vague, and TMZ has never released his contract details.

Why Charles Became More Recognizable Than Barbara
It comes down to the job. Barbara worked behind the camera, which means her name appears only in credits. Charles moved in front of it.
Here is why his profile grew:
- On-air time: He appears daily on TMZ Live and TMZ on TV.
- A famous brand: TMZ is one of the best-known entertainment news names in the world.
- Media appearances: His interviews, including one with Kanye West in 2018, drew wide attention.
- Privacy choices: Barbara has little or no public social media presence and has not given interviews.
That mix explains why searches for “Charles Latibeaudiere wife” are far more common than searches for her own career.
